Short Story Summary

In the short story Cold Cold Heart audio book, Pam did her role as a loyal, honest wife for twenty years. She and John enjoyed their friends, careers, and a special son. Author Biography

Karin Slaughter was raised in a small South Georgia town. She began writing and has been writing short stories and novels since she was a child. She is the author of the best-selling novels such as:

  • Blindsighted and Kisscut
  • A Faint Cold Fear
  • Indelible and Faithless

Karin is currently working on Triptych, a stand-alone novel set in the same world as the Grant County series.

About the Narrator – Megan Dodds

A graduate of the famous Juilliard School, American Megan Dodds made her West End debut in Ben Elton’s Popcorn.

Her TV appearances have included:

  • Poirot
  • Love in a Cold Climate
  • The Sword of Honour Trilogy
  • Spooks (she played CIA agent Christine Dale)

One of her film appearances was 2005′s Edinburgh Festival satire – Festival. But, the London stage has given Megan her most favorite roles of late: in Neil LaBute’s This is How It Goes and as Rachel Corrie in the acclaimed single-hander My Name Is Rachel Corrie at the Royal Court.

Short Story Reviews:

I usually don’t listen to stories in general let alone read fiction like this. The narrator of Cold Cold Heart audio book had a great pace and it sure kept my interest in what would happen next. If I had read the book I don’t know if I would have read it all in one day but I’m sure glad I listened to it as it was great. I would gladly listen to another of Karin’s stories.

WOW!!!! Very nice! I was drawn in from the start. The story had a very nice pace that kept me interested. Great job Karin……. and nice narration Megan. I like Karin, was also raised in Georgia. It was nice how you incorporated cities in Georgia in the story. I’m a new fan of audiobooks all because of the Cold Cold Heart audio book!

I liked this book. I haven’t listened to the others, but this one was fine.

I can’t wait to listen to the rest. I like the fact that I can listen to them in a short time.

Free was a great thing too. Hope there will be more books offered in the near future from BMW audiobooks.

Very intriguing and quirky story, Karin Slaughter is a master of suspense! This is shown in the Cold Cold Heart audio book.
I thought Megan Dodds was particularly convincing and reminded me of “Ruth” in Six Feet Under…
I think this series of short stories is a great initiative and can’t wait to download the next ones.
